      What is PrayerCount?

PrayerCount is a free online jap counter for Hindu, Jain and Sikh practice. It counts on a 108-bead mala in any phone or computer browser, shows no ads while you count, and includes a prayer library, festival calendar and meditation timer.

      Is PrayerCount free?

Yes. Arambh, the full counter with stats and streaks, is free forever. Sadhana (₹99 a month) adds goals, your own prayers and backup codes, and Tapas (₹148 a month) adds cloud backup, sync and reminders.

How do I count 108 mantras without a mala?

Open the counter and tap once for each repetition. PrayerCount marks every completed mala of 108, and can chime, vibrate or flash the screen when you reach your target, so you can keep your eyes closed.

Which mantras and prayers can I count?

Radha naam, Ram naam, the Hare Krishna maha mantra, Om Namah Shivaya, the Gayatri Mantra, the Navkar Mantra, Waheguru simran and more than 100 Hindu, Jain and Sikh texts, each with its meaning and recommended count. You can also add your own.

Can I use PrayerCount outside India?

Yes. PrayerCount works in any country, on any modern phone, tablet or computer, in English, Hindi, Kannada, Gujarati and Punjabi.

      Is there a PrayerCount app?

An Android app is on its way. Until then, and on iPhone, PrayerCount works fully in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.

      Do I need an account?

No. Your counts are saved on your own device. You can export them to a file at any time.

      Does it work without internet?

Yes. If your connection drops while you count, the counter keeps counting. On Sadhana or Tapas you can install PrayerCount and open it with no internet at all.

      Does vibration work on iPhone?

iPhone browsers don't let websites vibrate. Turn on the chime instead, and it sounds softly when you reach your target. Vibration works on Android.

Can I count my own mantra privately?

Yes. Choose "My mantra" to count without any text on screen. Only you will know what you chant.

Can my temple or satsang count jap together?

Yes. Family, Group and Temple plans give everyone one link to join for free, and the admin sees each member’s count, the shared total and the goal on one live dashboard.

Is PrayerCount easy to use with hearing or vision loss?

Yes. Every sound has a visual alert, text can be made larger, contrast can be raised and motion calmed, and the tap area fills the screen. Open the Accessibility button to choose what helps you.
